Inspired By: Samsung S9
I got the design inspiration from Samsung Smartphones. They’re all curved at the edges and it gives you a solid feel
of grip. Catching the same train, this tiny house will give you cozy feel and a sense of grip at all the time. This world Class design is no where to be found in a tiny house. It is Sleek, Sexy, Cozy and at the same time with huge storage.
I designed this home with the goal to maximize the available living area within a minimal ground space. Having a small footprint means using less building materials. And that means keeping money in your pocket [or using it to buy stuff. [I’m not here to tell you how to live]. The design is such that the home will feel 3-4x its size (and it does…trust me). I’ve taken some pretty cool ideas and worked them in to an area that makes sense.
ATTENDING COMMON PROBLEMS
Great attention has been put into design to devoid this house from most of the problems that people face when living in a small home. Small bathroom, crumpled up living rooms, inefficient energy design, that little headspace in the loft bed and many more intricate details have been taken care of.
WHAT PROBLEMS THIS DESIGN ADDRESSES TO?
When it comes to small house or mini house, getting a house plan that fits your need is quite a hard task. More often than not, a tiny house gets too tiny for a family of 5 and a small house is not so small.
In addition to this, the cost of construction goes as high as building a regular home. So, there’s no point in going tiny hence the best course of action is to obtain a house plan that is just right design for you.
I forgot to mention that not everybody loves the gable, hip, barn roof and the good old design of a house. A few, like you, want change, and go for modern design, well your devices are modern and why shouldn’t your house style too?
2 BIG BEDROOMS
Check out the large and very well-lit master bedroom with a double closet, and see how they will meet your budgetary and spatial needs. There are also two linen closets on the ladder so sleep well knowing that your towels, toiletries, and drum set will all have a place when you move in.
This house has 2 bedrooms, one on the first floor and other on the loft. The bed on the first floor is designed to comfortably sleep Two- 6’ adults while the one on the loft floor can easily sleep 3 typical adults. There’s ample head-space so that it doesn’t strain on your neck (which tiny house dwellers usually complain). The bedroom on the loft floor is big enough to put a separation wall and make space for a private study. Both the bedrooms are well ventilated with provisions for ample sunlight.
The most common complaint of tiny house dwellers is that poor planning resulted in insufficient storage space. Well, that isn’t the case with this house, with 15,000 L you can store anything that you usually do in a normal home. Normally, the tiny houses have storage capacity from 3000 L – 10,0000 L and this is at least twice the storage capacity of normal tiny house. I have provided ample storage space from wall cabinets to ladder cum storage space, Storage is the last thing you’ll worry about in this home of yours.
FAMILY AREA - 170 sq.ft
The best part about your living room is that kitchen, dining, and living areas are all on grade and connected to the bed room, so you can just walk out to the living, or keep an eye on the kids while they’re playing on their Xbox. Living area has a higher ceiling which increases the volume of the space.
Window positioning allows to capture views in a different direction bringing continuing sun light in the house. The living room also opens to the porch giving opportunities for outside activities. The curtain wall provides for ample sunlight and gives you a wide-angle view of what’s going on outside. In case you worry about your privacy you can always add curtain on the glass wall.
IT SAVES YOU MONEY
You save money in two ways:
By saving on energy costs: I designed this house to be conserve energy.
By going minimalist: Helping you with anti-consumption.
The primary theme of this house design is to save energy while not compromising with the living standard of the inhabitants. The house design is also minimalist in nature with only 2 color combinations and just the right amount of furniture. I abide by the rule ‘Less is More’ and you shall know more when you live in this house.
IT EARNS YOU MONEY; HOW?
AirBnB It: That extra bedroom in your house, are you worrying about how to make use of it. I guess you already know where I’m directing you to. For the size of the bedroom that you have in this house, you can easily list it up on AirBnB for $80-$120 a night and tourists will be more than happy to shell out the money for a house as good as this, if not AirBnB the extra bedroom can be used as a guest room or a dan or maybe a hobby room.
